The conversion went well .... took about 6 hours, but ....
Board is up and running everything has been tested.

Now a couple weeks later, the redirects have apparently not worked. Forgive my noobness on this process!
I installed XF in the previous forum's directory " /forums3 ....
I uploaded the files per this resource:
http://xenforo.com/community/resources/vbulletin-4-x-url-redirection.120/
No go. All the indexed (google) threads/posts...
